Accomplishment: Tolbert helped lead the Raiders' track and field team to the Blossom Valley Athletic League Mount Hamilton Division title by winning the long jump, triple jump and 800 meters (1:59.51), and anchoring the 1,600-meter relay team to a second-place finish. Tolbert, who plans to walk on at the University of Oregon next year, won the two jumps taking just one attempt in each (21-11 1/2 and 45-2). He has the third-best triple jump and 10th-best long jump in the section this year.

Comment: ``Jacob is our team leader and captain and he has a great way of inspiring his teammates,'' Silver Creek Coach Chuck Bean said. ``He has been our go-to guy and does whatever it takes to help the team win. As far as we can tell in our league, there hasn't been an athlete who has won titles in those three events, at least in the last 30 years.''
