CCS Trials & Finals, On-line - 05/21&27/05

Folks, I will be trying something new this weekend and if all goes well, will 
repeat for the CCS Finals.  I will be running an application called Results
Publisher (written by Bob in MA) that will allow athletes to view the results
of their event within 60 seconds after the Finishline people have evaluated 
the race on their computer.  There will be a bank (OK, 3-4) of laptops that will
be located underneath the bleachers by the finish line area running IE that will
be displaying the results.  It's a simple point & click away to see heat results, 
combined results, team scoring (track events only, we're working on the field side).
By the CCS Finals, we hope to also have the FinishLynx photo available with the results
as well.  To get a look at what it looks like, go to:

to see the results of the SCVAL Qualifier Meet.  We used this system both there
and at the DAL League meet.  Here's the clincher... Results Publisher (RP) will 
automatically upload the results to the web on a 60 second cycle, so if you can't
be at the meet, don't worry, just go to the link off of LynbrookSports and watch the 
meet that way.  Your browser will refresh itself every 30 seconds so if a new event
gets scored, it will show up on the left Index bar automatically.

Once you try it out, please send me feedback and/or ideas on what else you would like
to see - it's only a matter of programming...
