The USCAA is pleased to announce that the consulting firm BoozáAllen & Hamilton has issued a fourth annual Charity Cup Challenge in conjunction with this year’s USCAA National Championship, July 17-18. The Charity Cup Challenge raises funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, which enriches the lives of children and their families by ensuring that wishes are granted to children with terminal illnesses or life-threatening medical conditions.

The Challenge is simple: whichever team raises the most funds per team member will take home the commemorative engraved traveling trophy. In addition, individual fund-raisers may be eligible for prizes. Over $36,000 was raised by the Charity Cup Challenge over the last three years - $12,000 last year for the MAWF. With your help, we can make this year’s success even more spectacular. Be creative - last year Exxon sold tiger beanie babies.

The USCAA supports this effort to dedicate ourselves to the spirit of service, excellence, and opportunity both on and off the track. I encourage you to enlist your team members in this year’s Charity Cup Challenge, and to start making plans for how your team can raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® in this charity competition. For suggestions on how to organize your team’s participation, feel free to contact Gordon Smith at (703) 808-5409.

Please join us in this effort.

Sincerely,

Sometimes the best medicine might just be a wish come true.
"Your event will make a difference. Your support will make wishes come true for children who face the greatest challenges of their lives. On behalf of the children we serve, I thank you."
