This years USCAA Nationals will be held in Los Gatos, California - hosting
town for the Brazilian soccer team of the 1996 World Cup. The track facility
is a mere 440 yards away from downtown Los Gatos, known for it's restaurants,
micro-breweries and antique shops galore. The USCAA Nationals have not been
in the SF Bay Area since 1988 and were a steadfast feature here from 1978
(Foothill JC) to 1984 (San Jose CC). By bringing the Nationals back to it's
"roots", we hope to re-vitalize Corporate running and get some long time teams
that have "strayed" from the fold back into competition along with some new-
timers looking for a great time. Hank Lawson and Danny Moon, this years event
organizers, have been running Corporate Track since it's inception. "I want
this year to be not just a fun event, but something that everyone will
remember, old-timers and newcomers alike, for years to come," says team
captain Hank Lawson. "I hope to have my school district out here competing
this year," he adds. This is the kind of spirit that the USCAA is trying to
build and that we hope will happen at this years Nationals. "Lockheed Martin
is ready to have another go at it," adds Danny Moon, the other event
organizer. So as you can see, this years Nationals WILL be an event to
remember. For more information, go to our web site at:

and we hope to see EVERYONE in Los Gatos in 1999.
