     Boys: 3.1, Girls: 2.5
     Weather: mid-80's (I just remember it being terribly hot that day)
     (Back then there was only three divisions for state, but SDS had four, 
      Small Schools, 1A, 2A, and 3A. The next week was a State Qualifying 
      race to see who got to go.)
