- One of his first comments was, "What does it take to get to State?"
- Improved on Lynbrook course by 1:40 and on Crystal Springs by :37
- Always pleaded with me to run him in the Varsity race


F/S - MVP (Juan Chavez)

- 1st year runner
- Medaled 2 times thru the year and had a chance for 2 others
- Had the best overall team place ranking of 2.000
- #13 Soph on Lynbrook course


VG - Most Improved (Katie Benck)

- 2nd year of running Cross Country
- Sick for a number of races but still finished as our #3 or #4 runner
- Improved on the Lynbrook course for the year by 1:11



VG - MVP (Stephanie Chan)

- 3 year Varsity runner
- #1 runner all year long
- Slow start but a strong finish with PR at the Lynbrook Invit by :22
- #13 Senior on the Lynbrook course
- Stepped into that leadership role with ease


VB - Coaches Award (Darren Gray)

- 1st year running Cross Country
- Improved on Crystal Spring by :30 seconds
- Attendance, Performance, Attitude


VB - Most Improved (Lucas Yun-Nikiolac)

- Coached him since he was a Freshman
- Biggest time improvement was at Foothill JC
- 4th or 5th man most the year 'til DAL where he was 3rd man
- 1st alternate for CCS


VB - MVP (Aman Sirohi)

- #1 man in all but 2 races
- #10 Junior time on Lynbrook course
- Went from a follower to a leader
