ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Melissa Grelli, Presentation
Accomplishment: Grelli won the Division III Central Coast Section cross-country title, covering the 2.95-mile course at Crystal Springs in Belmont in 17 minutes, 31 seconds. Grelli ran away from a pack of Harbor runners in the last 150 yards to win in the 17th-fastest time recorded by a girl on the course. Grelli is in her first year of cross-country. She finished ninth in the 1,600 meters at the CCS track and field finals last spring.Honor roll

Anthony Reyes, Silver Creek
Accomplishment: Reyes rushed for 241 yards and two touchdowns in 25 carries in Silver Creek's 27-9 victory over Leland. His longest run was a 65-yard touchdown. Reyes has rushed for 1,335 yards in 191 carries this season. He has 10 touchdowns. Last season he rushed for 967 yards.
Comment: ``He is consistent,'' Silver Creek Coach Eric Luescher said. ``Teams come at us thinking, `We have to stop him.' He is our No. 1 back and he seems to be able to make a bad situation into a good one. He knows how to break tackles.''
