Cross-country at Stanford

Some of the section's top cross-country runners will be competing at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday, an early season test that will feature more than 3,000 high school and college runners.

Among the leading female contenders from the CCS are Alicia Follmar of Saratoga, Melissa Grelli of Presentation, McKayla Plank of Archbishop Mitty and Evelyn Wing of Valley Christian.

On the boys side, Jeremy Mineau of Menlo-Atherton, Alex Dunn of San Lorenzo Valley and Nathan Huerta of North Monterey County have all posted leading marks.
