Accomplishment: With 200 meters to go at the Serra Invitational at Crystal Springs on Saturday, she sprinted past Erin Lewis of Modesto to win the 2.95-mile race in 18 minutes, 4.4 seconds. ``Taylor's gift is her speed,'' Coach Rob Collins said. ``So she sat back at the beginning and let the others do the work.'' With personal-best times of 2:17 in the half-mile and 5:08 in the mile, sitting back is a luxury Johnson can afford. Her finish helped her team, missing several runners who were taking the SAT, collect second place. The Cougars are ranked second in the state for Division IV.
