JUNIOR OLYMPICS NATIONAL RESULTS - 12/10/2016 Los Gatos Track Club in Birmingham, Alabama * Best Overall Performance in Los Gatos Track Club History * First Year to Qualify 5 Full Teams to Nationals * First Year to put 3 full teams in the Top 3 on the Podium * First Year to have 2 Individual National Champions * First Year to have a Girls Team National Championship * First Year to have 11 Individual All-Americans (one missing it by 1 place) GIRLS 15-18 TEAM (5K)- "NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONS" Time/Overall Place - Top 25 Make All-American 1- Kaylah Grant - 18:47 / 1st "NATIONAL CHAMPION" - ALL-AMERICAN, 1st team All-CCS, 11th in State, Honorable Mention All-NorCal. You took control early and never looked back. You always feel dominate when you lead. 2- Annika Paylor - 19:40 / 10th ALL-AMERICAN (6-time All-American track/XC), Honorable Mention All-CCS. Another great build-up race. 3- Gabby Hughes - 19:42 / 11th ALL-AMERICAN - Honorable Mention All-CCS, and made the All-Frosh Team in Nor. Cal. Tremendous overall freshman season. 4- Lila Roake - 19:42 / 14th ALL-AMERICAN (3-time All-American), Honorable Mention All-CCS. You lead our 3-4-5-6 pack the first half. 5- Emily Harris - 19:49 / 17th ALL-AMERICAN (3-time all-American) your steady, consistent confidence is so impressive. 6- Jessica Kain - 20:04.0 / 21st ALL-AMERICAN (4 time All-American) Great job in staying with the pack. TEAM Top 3 SCORING: 1- Los Gatos 22 (* the most dominate team performance) 2- Obrien's Army 81 3- Putomac Valley 105, etc. BOYS 13-14 TEAM (4K)- 3rd PLACE IN USA (out of 37 teams) Time/Overall Place 1- Colin Peattie - 12:19 / 1st - "NATIONAL CHAMPION"/ALL-AMERICAN. Amazing level of ability, aggressiveness, confidence, determination, and knowing one self to control exactly a specific race plan to perfection. YOU DID IT COLIN ! CONGRATS ! 2- Gabe Rosado - 12:55 13th - ALL-AMERICAN - Made All-NorCal Frosh Team. Impressive strategy in staying with the lead pack. You had a tremendous freshman season. 3- Evan Franco - 13:00 23rd - ALL-AMERICAN - Courageous effort. 4- Ajay Mallya (Kennedy)- 13:51 107th - It was a great season for you overall. 5- Nitin Subramanian (Monta Vista H.S.)- 14:01 / 145th - great improvement from last years Nationals. 6- Robert Oryall (Price) - 14:02 / 148th - no one has improved more than you during these age group meets. 7- Sebastian Dregge (Fisher)- 14:10 / 175th 8- Ben Geil (Fisher) - 14:13 / 179th 9- Eion Daley (Monroe) - 14:31 / 238th TEAM Top 3 SCORING: 1- Pacific Coast Shock 113 2- Mt. GIRLS 13-14 TEAM (4K) - 3rd PLACE IN USA (out of 31 teams) Time / Overall Place 1- Oriana Jalal - 14:08 / 9th - ALL-AMERICAN - "CCS Freshman Runner of the Year" and made 2nd team all NorCal Team (2-time All-American). What a super- star season, what a super-star talent. Your 4:38 1500 this last summer, was the most fantastic. 2- Emily Minjares (Hoover)- 14:37 / 26th - Just missed making All-American by 1 point. 3- Shannon Gould (Mt. View H.S.)- 15:17 / 86th 4- Viveca Pannell (Fisher)- 15:33 / 107th - Great Improvement! 5- Makenna Adams (Rolling Hills)- 15:33 /108th 6- Alisha Naidu (Lynbrook H.S.)- 15:53 / 155th - Great running form. 7- Emma Curran (Fisher) - 16:13 / 208th / 122nd 8- Zoe Hartfield - (Monroe) 16:38 / 268th - Remember, your a 5:23 miler.
