WBAL Middle School Finals - 10/12/21

Hello All, 
I just wanted to send a quick note about Tuesday's Cross Country League Finals. We are racing at 
Hallmark Park at the Crystal Springs Race Course. As you all know each school is limited to seven 
runners per race. There was some confusion over 4/5 graders running. There will be no 4/5 grade 
race but 4/5 graders can run as part of your seven for the 6th-grade races. We still need schools to 
sign up for race day duties. A parent volunteer can be the person to fulfill the duties. All teams must 
have a first-aid kit and medical release form for all runners. Entries of your runners are due to 
Hank Lawson by the end of this week (An email was sent). 

Race Schedule 
4:00 - 6th Grade Girls 
4:15 - 6th Grade Boys 
4:30 - 7/8 Grade Girls 
4:45 - 7/8 Grade Boys 

Please have your racers at the start line 10 minutes prior to the race. 
Please send the following information to the families of your runners. We need to make sure everyone 
knows the rules in regards to parking and course restrictions. 

Restrictions 
No Dogs Allowed except Medical Approved Animals. 
No Bicycles (Exception, we are allowed to have a bike to follow runners 
No Glass Containers 
No Rock Throwing 
No Ball Throwing

Cars and Pedestrians 
Curb your wheels 
Do not block driveways 
Do not park in front of fire hydrants 
Do not double park 
Follow all speed limits 
Be courteous to all the neighbors 
Buses must park and unload in the designated bus parking zone (the last house on the right side of Hallmark Dr)

All spectators must wear a mask at all times! 

After the race, athletes are not to go to Hallmark Dr. without the supervision of their coach 
or parent. Athletes are to stay on the course or in Hallmark Park until their bus or ride arrives. 
All athletes are to respect the homes and yards of the local residents. Keep out of yards and driveways.
