Subject: WBAL Championship reminders (please read all) Date: Tuesday, October 31, 2023 11:48 AM If your team is coming by bus, please use the new entry for the buses and then walk up to the course. You can also have one of your coaches drive a van with any equipment and they can park closer to the main entrance. Please bring your *first aid kit* and *medical cards* for your athletes. These are required in order for your athletes to compete. You will sign in when you arrive just like you did at the first league meet. Remind your parents that dogs are not allowed on the course. Please make sure your area is cleaned up and any trash is disposed of in the trash bins available at the course. All the athletes that were petitioned have now been approved to compete on Friday. A reminder that at least your fastest 5 runners need to compete in the varsity races. We want to make sure all the teams that can field complete teams in the varsity races do so we can qualify the maximum amount of teams from our league. Following the league varsity finals, the top 50% of the teams from the league final races will advance to CCS. The top 3 individuals not on one of those teams will also advance. If Notre Dame SJ is not one of the top 50% of those teams, they will advance being our lone representative in Division III. Teams and individuals can also qualify if they surpass the following at-large marks: https://d2o2figo6ddd0g.cloudfront.net/a/m/bgysm6bkw7bh17/CCS_At_Large_times_23.pdf Another reminder is that the first league meet was worth 33% and the league final will be worth 66%. We will determine the league champions from those two meets using those percentages.
