In the varsity boys race, Milpitas junior Arnav Agrawal claimed individual honors with a time of 15:11.0, edging out Mountain View sophomore Deven Koppala (15:14.1) and Milpitas senior Abhinav Chakrad (15:22.6). However, the real story was Mountain View's dominant team performance, scoring just 29 points with a tight 1-2-4-6-7 finish. Their top five averaged an impressive 15:38.9, with only a 43.6-second spread.
Palo Alto senior Amaya Bharadwaj successfully defended her 2024 title, improving her winning time by an impressive 1:15.0 (from 18:10.0 to 17:25.0). Los Altos captured the team championship with 53 points, placing four runners in the top 20.
Mountain View's frosh-soph boys delivered a historic performance, placing their entire top five in the overall top five positions. Chase Lojek led a 1-2-3-4-5 sweep with teammates Easton Smith (16:08.5), Theo von Zweigbergk (16:48.5), Brandon Calder (16:58.9), and Cody Nemec (17:01.8).
