Subject: summer running schedule Date: Monday, May 29, 2017 8:19 AM Here are the summer training days and what we will probably do each day. Remember nothing is written in stone. We will start June 12 and continue until the start of the official season. Remember we always meet at Calabazes park at the playground. You are not required to do the summer workouts and it will not affect your being on the team. You will have other activities over the summer and may miss some of the training. Running days pick the days and time you choose to run. Monday through Thursday at 6pm Also Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8am and Saturday at 8am Here's the plan (again not written in stone and may change day to day) Monday-Hills as hard as you choose Tuesday-easy flat run Wednesday-easy running in hills with some fast reps for those in shape to do them or we may go to the track for some reps later on in the season. Thursday- Easy hills or flat running Friday-Hill intervals based on fitness of the runner. Saturday-Long easy run usually double the distance of you average run by time or distance. If you want to just do an easy run each day that is okay. You are not required to do all these workouts. Thanks Jake
