CRYSTAL SPRINGS CROSS COUNTRY COURSE

INFORMATION-RULES AND REGULATIONS

Coaches are reminded to bring a first aid kit, with medical emergency cards for each athlete, and ice. Water is now available at a faucet by the shed. You may also bring your own bottled water.

Please remember the uniform rule. Uniforms will be inspected at the start. Once the race begins, it will be assumed that the uniforms on each team match.

Coaches, please remind your bus driver, team, parents and fans of the following rules. If any of the following rules are violated the coach/school will be fined $25.00.(Except the driveway blocking $100 fine)

PARENTS, FRIENDS, RELATIVES, SPECTATORS WHO BLOCK OR PARTIALLY BLOCK ANY PRIVATE OR PUBLIC DRIVEWAY WILL CAUSE THE ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS COACH TO BE FINED $100 ON THE FIRST OFFENSE AND ON THE SECOND OFFENSE THAT TEAM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE AT CRYSTAL SPRINGS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THAT SEASON.

Buses are NOT to double park to load or unload in front of Hallmark Park. Buses must load and unload and park in the area beyond the park where there are no homes on the right of Hallmark.

Please notify bus drivers that they cannot turn around at the end of Hallmark Drive. There is no room to turn around. Buses who attempt this could be subject to repair an entire driveway because of scaring that could result in attempting to turn around in someone’s private driveway.

NO dogs are allowed at the Crystal Springs Cross Country Course. No exceptions.

No bikes, smoking, glass containers, stereos, Frisbees, football or rock throwing.

Athletes and spectators are NOT allowed in Peninsula Water District storage area(big water tanks on the hill). This is a double fine area($50.00)

Teams are responsible for policing their team areas and putting all trash in the debris box. Please put the trash in the debris box located at the top of the hill , NOT in the overflowing smaller barrels.

REMEMBER EACH COACH WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR ATHLETES AND SPECTATORS.

There should be no contact with the runners while they are in the chute area. Do not throw or give them aid in any way. Only medical personnel can render aid in the chute. Throwing or handing articles like water bottles etc. while the athlete is in the chute or on the scoring shed porch is subject to disqualification DQ.
