invitation in the mail should call or e-mail before downloading an entry to see if we still have space available. We
anticipate being beyond capacity again this year.
Half Moon Bay High School would like to invite you and your athletes to compete
in the Artichoke Invitational XC Meet which will take place - for the thirty-fifth
straight year - on Saturday, October 1st. Over 3000 athletes entered last year.
The Half Moon Bay campus is located 1/4 mile north of downtown Half Moon Bay on Lewis
Foster Drive off of Main Street. The course is 2 1/4 miles.
ORDER OF EVENTS - Coaches are responsible for entering correct division!
Use the C-Bed numbers you would use for your Section and the State Meet.

ARTICHOKE RULES and SCHEDULE
A 2nd race for Large School Varsity Boys will be added if necessary.
Varsity and Frosh/Soph races limited to 7 runners.
You must enter a Varsity team before entering a JV team (Seniors can run on JV teams).
Freshman and JV races unlimited.
ENTRY FEES
$18 minimum/school - $160 maximum/school. See chart on entry pages.
REFRESHMENTS
A snack bar will be open to provide food, drink, and meet t-shirts.
ENTRY LISTS
Due to the large number of participants, we need your legible entries as soon as
possible. Each athlete will be assigned a number. Substitutions will be allowed
on race day but absolutely NO RACE DAY ENTRIES! If they might run, enter them
now. Please remember, the entry process on our end is very time consuming. You must
pay for all the athletes you enter.
Mail (or FAX) your entry lists and fees so we can receive them by September 24th.
