CCS Finals : What a season! Gleason takes 5th in the discus, Sicklesteel gets a 6th in the 110 highs and Bryson picks up two 6ths in the TJ & LJ.
CCS Trials : Jason Sicklesteel moves to #7 on the 110 hurdles list, Kim Gleason moves to #2 on the Disc list as both PR and move on to CCS finals. Barrett Bryson qualifies for CCS Finals in TWO events (LJ & TJ).
Sub-Section : Kim Gleason moves to #3 All Time in the Disc and will move on (Disc & Shot) along with Barrett Bryson (TJ) and Jason Sicklesteel (110 Hurdles).
League Finals : The Varsity Boys cap off a 6-0 season with a 131-91 victory at the League Finals over Cupertino. Varsity Girls finish 4th, a mere 4 points from 3rd. F/S Boys are 3rd and the JV Girls "3-peat" as champs.
Monta Vista : Lynbrook caps off a great season by winning all 3 divisions against the Matadors. The girls had to win the Mile Relay to finish with a 4-2 record, and they did. The Varsity Boys had their first undefeated season in over 10 years and the F/S Boys are ready for Santa Clara at the League Championships.
SJ Mercury News : In a match between unbeaten teams in the El Camino Division, host Lynbrook defeated Cupertino 83-44 on Thursday. Lynbrook senior Justin Katz won the 100 meters with a time of 11.53 and ran legs on both relays. Barrett Bryson won the long jump with a distance of 20'5.25" and was one of eight Vikings to break personal records. Lynbrook can win the league title with a victory over Monta Vista on Thursday.
Cupertino : Varsity Boys are 1 win away from their first un-defeated season in 10 years. F/S Boys are hanging tough with their only loss coming in the first meet of the year. Varsity Girls are looking to rebound after their 2nd loss of the season.
Mtn View : Varsity Boys remain undefeated. Varsity Girls suffer their first loss but along with F/S (which won) they are still in the hunt for the League Championship.
SF Invite : Bryson, McPherson, Sicklesteel, Whitsett, Meyer & Cheung all participate with PR's being established.
Fremont : Second time this season that Lynbrook wins all 3 divisions. Whitsett, Bryson and Wang are all double winners for Varsity Boys. McPherson is a triple winner for the girls and Rimmer is the same for the F/S Boys.
Homestead : Lynbrook wins all 3 divisions this time. Gleason returns from ACL surgery win wins in the Shot & Disc. Sicklesteel continues his dominance in the Highs and Meyer is a 3 event winner for F/S.
WV Relays : Whitsett PR's in the 3000M winning his heat and moving to the #2 All Time spot. Xu finds out he has more left in his 800 heat. Matt Cheung PR's in the 1500 and Kai Yu has fun in the Steeple.
Santa Clara : It came down to the Mile Relay and Lynbrook wins defeating last years EC League champs. The Girls also come out on top but the F/S boys are defeated.
K-Bell Invit : Sheridan McPherson PR's and wins the K-Bell Invitational Long Jump with a 16'09" effort. Bryson, Yu, Chan, Whitseet & Meyer all PR in their respective events.
Saratoga Relays : Lynbrook 4x100 guys open up with the fastest time of the day while Bryson takes 3rd in the LJ. Ladies DM takes 2nd and the 4x800 wins. McPherson is 3rd in LJ with Chan, Lin & Qureshi going 2,3, 6 in the HJ.
Lynbrook Heptathlon : Tiffany Ngo defends her title while improving her PR by over 300 points. With defending champ Barrett Bryson a no-show Kai Yu takes advantage by beating Josh Huizar by a mere 11 points.
